Initially invited to capture the World Transplant Games in Perth, in April 2023, The Periscope Crew, a team of young filmmakers living with disabilities, were tasked with capturing the athletes and the sporting action. What they didn't anticipate was the profound journey that awaited them that week.
In ‘Everywhere,’ The Periscope Crew illuminates the seldom-heard stories of transplant recipients in a new light, uncovering the remarkable within each moment. From their unique perspective, they reveal the profound impact of the 'gift of life' embodied by the athletes, which goes beyond anything we can imagine - to become a deeply moving portrayal of hope and courage.

The Periscope Crew is a platform for young people with disabilities to shine in something they are both passionate about and have real talent in. All too often, people with disabilities become the subjects of stories and they want to be the creators and visionaries of our own stories. They are working alongside young industry professionals so that they have the skills and knowledge to bring their stories to life.
They are also hoping to work with them to build real partnerships in the film and media industry here in Western Australia so that they can be part of building an even more creative and inclusive landscape in our home state.
Some of their stories will make you laugh and others will challenge you as they help you view the world from every angle. There is no crew like The Periscope Crew.
